推动一维nanom碳材料在国内外的发展，着眼于研究碳链、碳nanom管和石墨烯nanom带等的制备、性能与应用研究。

学术成果

【学术表现】

在Nature Mater., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., ACS Nano, Nano Lett., Carbon, Phys. Rev. Materials, App. Phys. Lett., Nano Research, Nanoscale等期刊发表论文30余篇；其中第一作者发表在Nature Materials上的论文报道了世界上最长碳链的成功制备和性能研究，受到了审稿人的极高评价和科学界极大的关注，被Sciencedaily、C&EN、MRS、MailDaily、科技日报（头版头条、主编点评）等在内的百余家国际科技媒体积极报道，还被ACS Central Sciences评为2016年度化学界的五大世界纪录之一，目前是所在一维碳链领域被引速度最快的论文。另有授权发明专利3项，公开发明专利4项。
