A BRIEF INTRODUCTION TO CHINA CHAMBER OF INTERNATIONAL COMMERCE GUANGDONG CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

With a full name as China Chamber of International Commerce Guangdong Chamber of Commerce, Guangdong CCOIC is authorized as a juridical association for being registered in Civil Administration Office, Guangdong Provincial Government. She mainly serves as a social media organization taking a main task of providing the enterprises with services of all varieties.

Initially, Guangdong CCOIC was founded in 1988. Under the approval of State Council then, the name of “Guangdong Chamber of International Commerce ” was permitted to be used simultaneously under China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (Guangdong CCPIT). That is, they are the same organization bearing two names.

The 21th century sees the human society facing three great tendencies being, knowledge economy, information revolution, and globalization, and China’s entry into WTO as well. Under such circumstances, it is also certain for Guangdong CCOIC, as the biggest and most important non-governmental foreign economic and trade chamber organization, to be separated from Guangdong CCPIT and begin her own operation as an independent organization with her own name. We are sure that she will take active function in promoting the non-governmental commerce and trade communication between Guangdong province and other countries and regions all over the world, and protecting the legitimate rights of foreign investors while putting their investment in China.
